Common Ordinance Violations
The Police Department is responsible for providing residents of the community with an orderly environment that is free of nuisances. Village Ordinance Chapter 8 (Orderly Conduct) and Chapter 9 (Public Nuisances) help the department to maintain safety and peace in the community. Complaints
It is the policy of the Whitefish Bay Police Department that all incidents of alleged or suspected violations of law, ordinances or Department rules, regulations or Standard Operating Procedures must be investigated and reported in writing. The Department encourages citizens to bring forward any truthful complaint regarding misconduct by employees.

Coyote Information
Generally, coyotes are reclusive animals who avoid human contact. Coyotes who’ve adapted to urban and suburban environments, however, may realize there are few real threats and approach people or feel safe visiting yards even when people are present. Request Police Reports & Records
Requests for records will be processed at the Whitefish Bay Police Department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The requester is asked to fill out an open record request form detailing the record(s) requested. Follow the link for more information.

Special Needs Registry Form
The Special Needs Registry is available for all residents requiring special needs resulting from a physical, emotional, or medical condition (i.e. dementia, autism, etc.). Information provided is maintained in a confidential database which will assist emergency responders in providing a more informed response to those with special needs during an emergency.
