Please take the time to look through the pages below to find the information that you need.
Common Ordinance Violations
The Police Department is responsible for providing residents of the community with an orderly environment that is free of nuisances. Village Ordinance Chapter 8 (Orderly Conduct) and Chapter 9 (Public Nuisances) help the department to maintain safety and peace in the community. The linked page contains additional information about common ordinance violations.
It is the policy of the Whitefish Bay Police Department that all incidents of alleged or suspected violations of law, ordinances or Department rules, regulations or Standard Operating Procedures must be investigated and reported in writing. The Department encourages citizens to bring forward any truthful complaint regarding misconduct by employees.
Generally, coyotes are reclusive animals who avoid human contact. Coyotes who’ve adapted to urban and suburban environments, however, may realize there are few real threats and approach people or feel safe visiting yards even when people are present.
