Complaints

It is the policy of the Whitefish Bay Police Department that all incidents of alleged or suspected violations of law, ordinances or Department rules, regulations or Standard Operating Procedures must be investigated and reported in writing.

The Department encourages citizens to bring forward any truthful complaint regarding misconduct by employees.

The Police Department will not investigate complaints arising out of a disagreement between the employee and the complainant over the merits of an arrest or citation. The appropriate forum for the resolution of those issues is in the courts.

The Whitefish Bay Police complaint form is located here.
