The Library Park arboretum project started on Oct. 31 with contractors removing select existing vegetation and invasive species. After the removals are completed, crews will plant over 150 new trees and shrubs. In addition to the plantings, DPW staff will be installing a new walking path in the spring of 2026.
The Village received MMSD grant funding for the planting of trees and shrubs.
