The Village of Whitefish Bay is accepting applications from citizens who are interested in volunteering to serve on various boards, committees and commissions. The following openings are available:
Board of Review (Alternate Member): The Board of Review is a quasi-judicial body that hears formal objections to property assessments. It is a fundamental part in the objection process designed so that property owners may express their concerns about the value of their property. The Board meets on an annual basis during the 45-day period beginning the fourth Monday in April and also meets as needed in late summer or early fall.
Police Commission (Member): The Police Commission is an independent statutory body that is responsible for employment matters of sworn Police personnel. The Commission meets as needed.
