There are over 9,000 street trees that are maintained by the Village. The DPW has an annual pruning and maintenance program that rotates on a 7-year cycle to improve the health of the tree canopy as well as remove visible dead or hazardous limbs. Crews will be out this winter season to focus efforts on the 2026 area of concentration as shown on the map. In addition to the 2026 zone, crews will also be inspecting and managing trees that may impact sightline visibility and sidewalks throughout the entire Village.
