2. Merchants who wish to go door to door need to purchase a solicitor's and/or transient merchant permit from the Clerk's Office. The Deputy Clerk will give them a copy of the Do Not Solicit List which will show them which properties to not go to. However, religious groups and charities are allowed to go door to door.
